Solheim Cup: Jodi Ewart Shadoff’s golf clubs lost en route to Gleneagles

As she arrived in Scotland to discover that her golf clubs were not on the flight the week at the Solheim Cup of jodi Ewart Shadoff got off to an unfortunate start.
Ewart Shadoff is made to make her third appearance for Europe at Gleneagles this week after being handed a captain’s pick by Catriona Matthew, but she was not able to practice on Monday as she waited for her clubs to get there.
The English star flew into Edinburgh on Sunday and instantly took to social websites to plead with Aer Lingus to track down and send her clubs, before submitting an image of her official group bag on Monday with a message that read:”Still awaiting fulfill this great empty bag with clubs.”
Although the Team Europe accounts on Twitter also sent out a message highlighting the issue, her nightclubs have been believed to be located based on some caddie Shane Codd.
Ewart Shadoff, that has won three of her seven games in her two appearances from 2013 and 2017, was optimistic her clubs would be sent to Gleneagles at 8am in time for Tuesday’s scheduled team clinic.
Watch the 16th Solheim Cup this week try to protect against a straight Team USA success. Live coverage begins on Friday at 7:30am on Sky Sports Golf.
